Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you place in your message and use them solely to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs, including IP addresses, browser types, visited pages, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the service and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
The information described above helps us run the site, diagnose faults, review traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Websites
Links may lead to Maryland government portals, Baltimore County and state records offices, library collections, or outside search tools. Information submitted on those services is controlled by their privacy policies rather than ours. The same rule applies to sponsored search results, which an outside company provides.
Parties That Process Data
Vendors that host or support the service process logs for us. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatic information noted above. We disclose data when valid legal process compels us to do so, but otherwise do not share visitor information.
Safeguarding Your Data
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs remain only as long as the purposes stated above require. Because no user accounts exist here, we hold no account password or user profile that could be exposed.
Users Under 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted such information, and we will remove it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, effective October 1, 2025, gives covered Maryland residents rights concerning access and knowledge, correction, deletion, limits on certain uses or disclosures, and opt-outs of sale or sharing, subject to the law's scope and exceptions. Because we retain little, most requests involve checking our contact mailbox and server logs and deleting what is found. Submit a request through the Contact page. Public records held by Baltimore County or Maryland agencies remain outside our control and must be addressed with the record custodian. Publicly available information is excluded from the Act's definition of personal data, so the Act does not itself erase an official deed or court docket.
